Welcome to the show....

Judging by the tone of this post, our first post, you will gather that I (James) am doing the writing.  We are officially 14 days from arrival in Bangkok.   Total, we will be going from the country for 54 days.
We have decided to leave the cellphones and computers behind, so we will be updating this blog from various Internet Cafes we find along the way.

Although we have done a lot of research about the few areas we plan on visiting, we have no set agenda.  We think it may go something like this:

Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Laos-Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Cambodia- Siem Reap, Angkor What, Bangkok.... Then off the beaches for a month of diving, fishing, and relaxing. (haven't really thought about this half yet)

I have no doubt that on this adventure we will be traveling by Boat, Train, Bus, Car, Plane, Tuk Tuk, and maybe a little walking.  I also am pretty sure that we will skip / add places along the way.

I look forward to posting pictures and stories as we make our way through Asia.
