Club Sandwich...

I started an entry yesterday but the 7 year old playing call of duty on the computer next to me had a problem and turned the wrong computer off (my computer) in the middle of my creative genuis...
I just wanted to post a quick word about my breakfast. They are so good. Fresh squeezed orange juice that is both a brighter and deeper orange than at home. Good coffee, etc. I know christina already mentioned all of this, so let me get to the point:
I have been eating a club sandwich for breakfast every morningm, but I am not sure It is a club sandwich.
Sure, it has Ham, Bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Sure it has three slices of bread. But it has onion, and cucumber, and (wait for it)..... a fried egg. Also it is searved on the breakfast menu. I have been strugling with the sandwich identity delima for two days and have a judgement.  It is cut into four triangles that are arranged at 90 degree increments around the plate and It has a frilly toothpick. It must be a club sandwich.
Sorry to the reader who was looking for a cultural note about Thailand and got a silly ramble about club sandwiches, but this was what was on my mind.
Later,
James

P.S. If Heather or Chris read this, please comment and let us know what cooking class you took in Chiang Mai. -Thanks

  1. Nice, you obviously found the internet cafe/ pre-teen video game place.

The school we went to was the the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School www.thaicookeryschool.com We did the 2 day course which was enough for us. Bring your own beer.

Next time you are at Tavee you should try the Museli fruit and yogurt breakfast... I know I know sounds too healthy but the fruit is amazing. And they cover it with honey so its sweet.

Drink a pint of Singha for us and watch out for the lady boys.
